This PDF sewing pattern is made for knit fabrics and comes in three different lengths, and you can easily customise the cardigan by mixing different style options.

Whether you plan to sew a short, chic Chanel-inspired cardie jacket or are yearning to make a cosy coatigan, the Eivy Cardigan has you covered! 

Sewing level

Intermediate or a more advanced and adventurous beginner who has prior experience sewing with knits. The skill-level is similar to sewing a simple blouse with some type of closure and facing. 

Fabric recommendations

• Sweater knits, double knit fabrics, fleece, felted wool knits, quilted knits, knit bouclé, jacquard knits, French terry and knit velour.
• Suitable for knits with around 20% to 40% stretch crosswise, with minimal stretch lengthwise. 

Additional supplies

• Fusible stretch interfacing (required)
• Buttons, snaps, toggles or frog closure (optional)
• Decorative band (optional)

Short-length cardigan

EU 32–38 (US 0–6) = 1.7 m (1.9 yd)
EU 40–46 (US 8–14) = 2.1 m (2.3 yd)
EU 48–56 (US 16–24) = 2.2 m (2.4 yd)

Midi-length cardigan

EU 32–38 (US 0–6) = 2.0 m (2.2 yd)
EU 40–46 (US 8–14) = 2.4 m (2.6 yd)
EU 48–56 (US 16–24) = 2.5 m (2.7 yd)

Long-length cardigan
