Designed for soft knit fabrics, this PDF sewing pattern brings a relaxed feel to a refined look.

Sewing level

Intermediate, with some prior experience sewing with knits. This is a stitch-and-learn pattern with detailed instructions to help you sew a slightly more intricate knit top, including several video tutorials for the steps that might be new to you.

The Tyri Blouse is best sewn with a serger. A coverstitch machine is helpful for hemming, but it can also be done on a regular sewing machine.

Fabric recommendations

• Light-to-medium-weight jerseys with a soft hand and good recovery.
• Rayon, cotton, tencel, silk and synthetic knits are all suitable for the Tyri Blouse.
• Avoid very thin and flimsy knits, such as light bamboo jersey, which might be too flimsy for this neckline style.
• Choose a knit with great recovery and at least 20% crosswise stretch.

Additional supplies

• Strips of lightweight stretch interfacing, clear elastic or fabric scrap to stabilise the shoulder seams.
